Once upon a time I posted about a ROW marker that I found dumped on a hillside by Devil's Elbow. It is my understanding (correct me if I am wrong) that these markers were installed in the 20's. These kind of markers are commonplace in Illinois, but in Missouri, these were replaced by metal markers.

Today, I actually found one in the ground on Old Highway 61 by Troy, MO. Picture attached. Don't know when it was installed, but just wanted to share. SGF, Kip

Nice Find!

Were you searching or lucky, or both? I guess the question I'm asking is what did you do to find it?
