2006 Road Trip & Medical Procedures

Something from my website … my Dallas-Fort Worth TX stop for breakfast during my 2006 road trip:
In health news … if only registering, coaxing doctors to communicate with each other, coordinating schedules & receiving-executing pre- & post-procedure instructions could be listed on a resume as professional abilities, duties & experience….
03/25/2015, Wednesday = pacemaker replacement
…technically outpatient, but may have to spend a night in the hospital; a week of rest follows, then follow-up on, of all days, April 1.
TBD = endoscopy & colonoscopy
…these should be easy. Given other test results, tho, Medicaid-appointed PCP is concerned. Originally scheduled 03/03/2015 (Tuesday), these may be done AFTER the pacemaker replacement, depending on the Medicaid-approved gastroenterologist’s decision … tomorrow.
Despite me calling multiple times, Medicaid has yet to provide a podiatrist for my feet pain or an orthopedist for my knee pain-swelling, so not sure what to do….

Cort,

Sorry about the constant medical attention.

I think your 2006 trip was before I joined the forum.

I enjoy looking at some of my old road trip photos and sometimes I note something I missed, usually in the background. Have you had that experience?

In the photo you are standing between a Dodge and Buick. I had the impression you were a Chevy man.

Hi Dave!

Ah, no need to be sorry. Just the way my life is!

Well, actually, the 2006 trip was before I joined here, too. :) But, yes, I, too, have had that experience of noticing something I missed. In fact, I was just reviewing pics of my 2010 road trip the other day & ran into that sort of thing! Funny, isn't it!?

In the photo from the 2006 trip, the Dodge is my rental for that trek & the Buick is (er, was, as he has since replaced it) owned by the friend I met for breakfast. :)
