Porch Walk for Paws

Hammond’s Ferry neighbors host “Porch Walk for Paws”. Guests visit 10 porches on Crystal Lake Drive from 6 p.m to 8 p.m. While, each decorated porch has a theme. Also, enjoy a beverage and appetizer. At 8 p.m., the evening transitions to a party in the garden with food from neighborhood restaurants, live music, and dancing.

Furthermore, a night of festivity, fellowship, and food. The City of North Augusta partners with Hammond’s Ferry neighbors to implement best practices with Animal Services. Most importantly, to save and improve the lives of homeless dogs and cats in the community.

Inaugural event proceeds used for working with Team Shelter USA, an animal welfare consulting firm. Team Shelter USA works to evaluate and determine specific community needs and plan and implement proven life-saving practices.
