155th Battle of Broxton Bridge Reenactment

Spend the weekend at the 155th Battle of Broxton Bridge Reenactment. February 1, 1865 – 155 years ago – the northern army was enroute from Savannah, Georgia, to Columbia, South Carolina. As, the battles at Broxton Bridge and Rivers Bridge on the Salkehatchie River were the last big defensive effort for the Confederates before the battle at Columbia.
Living History Day for schoolchildren to tour is Feb. 28, beginning at 9 a.m. Camps are open Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. While, battle reenactments are 2 p.m. on February 29 and March 1, 2020.
One-day admission: ages 5 and under Free, ages 6 thru 17 is $3 and age 18 and over $10. Get armbands at gate or RV Park. Charge for admission whether camping or not. FREE Parking. Visit vendors with available food and wares. Even more, the HL Hunley Exhibit will be featured again.
