Schaghticoke Fair

Schaghticoke Fair, a family event, celebrates its 202nd year with midway rides and games, and the Royal Hanneford Circus. Also, Bengal tiger show, racing pigs, rodeos, demolition derbies, truck and tractor pulls, livestock shows, and horse shows. Even more, Luau Logan’s TroPIGal Revue, Cow Town USA, Buffalo Barfield Music Show, exhibits, Saturday fireworks, and favorite fair food.
Music highlights: The Red Haired Strangers, The Hobbs Sisters (Wednesday); Donny Elvis, Fritz’s Polka Band (Thursday); Sugar Skull Band, Matt Mirabile Band (Friday); Black Mountain Symphony, KISSTORY tribute band (Saturday); Bridge Street Revival, North Country Music Awards (NCMA) (Sunday); Houston Bernard Band, The Accents (Monday).
Grandstand events are $2 each: 4×4 Truck Pull (7 p.m. Wednesday); Stock Car Football Demo Derby (7 p.m. Thursday); Farm Tractor Pull (6 p.m. Friday); Lucky E Rodeo (noon, 6 p.m. Saturday); NYTPA Tractor Pull (noon, 7 p.m. Sunday); and Demolition Derby (2 p.m., 7 p.m. Monday).
On Wednesday, enjoy $1 fair admission, $1 rides ($10 minimum purchase) and $1 select food items.
Fair admission is $12 Thursday thru Monday; $10 online pre-sale; $40 for a season pass; free for children 13 and younger; and $5 for seniors 62 and older on Thursday.
Unlimited ride wristbands are $23 Wednesday thru Friday, $25 Saturday thru Monday, and $19 pre-sale. Also, ride tickets are $1.50 each, $30 for 20 tickets, or $60 for 50 tickets plus 1 free ride. While, rides take 2 or more tickets each.
Fair hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Midway hours are noon to 11 p.m.
