The Legend of Sleepy Hollow

Watch an adaptation of Washington Irving’s classic American ghost story, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. As, award winning playwright Mark Scharf has created this theatrical event. It’s as easy or as complex to stage as one’s imagination and budget.
The story follows Ichabod Crane, an outsider from Connecticut. As he tries to fit into the isolated and insular society of Sleepy Hollow – a land steeped in stories of the supernatural. Even more, the terrifying tale of the Headless Horseman. In doing so, he seeks to court Katrina, the local beauty, but Katrina is already being pursued by the local hero and hell-raiser Brom Van Brunt. Certainly, sparks that fly may not be the kind Ichabod intends.
